BACKFLOW TEST KIT CALIBRATION
Accurate results, traceable documentation, and a 3-day turnaround.
OUR PROCESS Simple & Audit‑Ready
LAW Technical calibrates backflow test kits by applying pressure from a master calibration standard and measuring accuracy from zero to full scale in 20% increments. Accredited pressure and backflow calibration for test kits used by fire protection, plumbing, and irrigation contractors. The result is a documented, accredited certificate your AHJ or water district will accept; no guesswork and no delays.
Receive & Review
When your kit arrives at our lab, we inspect it and log all relevant information before calibration begins. If anything is missing or the kit requires attention, we flag it before proceeding.
Apply Pressure Standards
We apply pressure using one of our master calibration standards that is traceable to international references. Testing from zero to full scale in 20% increments to verify accuracy across the entire range.
Document Results
Every reading is recorded against your kit's required performance range. We capture pass/fail status at each interval so your certificate reflects a complete, defensible calibration record.
QC Review
All results go through an internal quality control review before any documentation is issued. This ensures what you receive is accurate, complete, and ready for submission.
Issue Your Certificate
You receive an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited Calibration Certificate for each kit, suitable for AHJ submission, annual compliance records, or internal documentation.
Manage & Return
Calibrated kits are returned promptly. Assets and certificates can be tracked in LAW CMS so you always know where each kit stands and when it's due again.
WHO WE SERVE
Fire Protection Contractors NFPA 25 requires contractors to test the backflow preventers on their customers’ sprinkler systems. Most AHJs mandate that the kit used to perform that test is itself calibrated, typically on an annual basis. We make it easy to stay current.
Plumbing & Heating Contractors Plumbers and mechanical contractors testing backflow preventers to protect the general water supply need calibrated equipment to stand behind their work. Your local water district is typically the AHJ and we give you the documentation they’ll accept.
Irrigation Contractors Irrigation systems require backflow testing to prevent contaminated water from entering the municipal supply. Local water districts govern this requirement, and a calibrated test kit is the foundation of a compliant inspection.
